However, the more recognizable period as being the start of Digital Marketing is 1990 as this was where the Archie search engine was created as an index for FTP sites.

Fiona Dowling - Fairies in the Hemam and a Djinn in Dublin

The collaboration between Zouhair and Fiona Dowling, the Irish-French storyteller, was a cornerstone of the Yarn Storytelling Festival in Ireland. In September 2024, Fiona spent several weeks in Marrakech, engaging deeply with Zouhair on stories rooted in heritage and ancestry as a part of Yarn's residency program. Their creative exchange culminated in a duo performance titled Stories Over the Hill, held at the World Storytelling Café.The dialogue between them in November, Zouhair traveled to Ireland to participate as an international artist at the Yarn Festival, where their collaboration evolved further. The final result was a co-created performance—officially titled Djinn in the Fairies' Hill, though affectionately referred to by Zouhair as Fairies in the Hammam and a Djinn in Dublin. The show illuminated the shared mythologies of Morocco and Ireland, weaving together folklore to reveal unexpected common ground with a core question: What if Fiona brings Irish Fairies to a Hammam and I take a Moroccan Djinn to Ireland. Through their collaboration, Fiona and Zouhair unearthed new perspectives on the cultural and historical connections between their two countries.

Choral Tourath

Zouhair collaborated with Choral Tourath, the official choir of UM6P, in three major performances—two in Benguerir Campus and one in Rabat Campus. His unique contribution lay in weaving traditional storytelling and the art of Halqa into orchestral and choral compositions. Rather than presenting musical pieces or songs connected by ordinary presenter's speech, each performance unfolded as a cohesive journey—guided by story, emotion, and rhythm. This unique collaboration marked the first of its kind in Africa, offering audiences an innovative experience where storytelling became the structural and emotional spine of a musical performance.

Urban Jungle Athlete

In July 2024, Urban Jungle teamed up with Zouhair Khaznaoui to release a bold social media campaign, to promote the Nike Air Jordan 1 Element Gore-Tex, that reimagined the storyteller as an urban jungle athlete. Far from the traditional image of the artist, the video cast Zouhair as a cultural runner—navigating city streets, weaving stories through concrete and chaos, and carrying centuries of oral tradition with the rhythm and resilience of an athlete in motion.

Reimagining Mr. Serge Lutens Story

Zouhair was invited, on June 27th, 2024, to reimagine and tell the story of the legendary perfume creator Monsieur Serge Lutens, former Artistic Director of Dior, focusing on the origins of four of his most iconic fragrances—all of which trace their essence back to Marrakech. In an immersive storytelling performance designed exclusively for Serge Lutens' employees, Zouhair wove together memory and imagination, blurring the lines between fact and fable. The audience experienced the narrative through scent, smelling the perfumes at key moments, allowing the fragrances to act as emotional anchors to the tale. To heighten the experience, Zouhair collaborated with a musical trio to compose original music inspired by Serge Lutens' creative journey, making the event a full sensory ritual of scent, sound, and storytelling.
